ARTSingapore 2009 Completes a Successful Run Yet Again, Over $5 Million Sales Achieved During 5-day Art Fair
ARTSingapore, the annual Asian Contemporary Art Fair, ended its 9th edition on 12th October with $5 million worth of sales. The fair, which saw almost 10,000 visitors at Suntec Singapore from 9 – 12 October, included over $30 million worth of artworks in the fair. Highlights of the fair included a never-exhibited-before collection of Singapore pioneer artist Cheong Soo Pieng’s works, the first ever Asia International Photography Fair, and a “New Finds” section for emerging artist and galleries.
